Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join its international team responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of Avaloq’s Web & Mobile Banking platform.

You will work at the intersection of development and operations, driving automation, enhancing system resilience, and supporting production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, or Objective-C.
• Experience in software engineering, DevOps, or application support roles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile banking applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Ensure stable and efficient operation of the Mobile Banking platform.
• Manage tickets end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.

Job Description

You will join an international and dynamic team responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of Avaloq’s Web & Mobile Banking platform.

In this role, you will act as a Software Engineer, working at the intersection of development and operations. You will drive automation, enhance system resilience, and support mission-critical production environments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain mobile banking applications (iOS and/or Android)
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities
• Ensure stable and efficient operation of the Mobile Banking platform
• Manage tickets end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android)
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, or Objective-C
• Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Application Support roles
• Solid understanding of production environments, monitoring, and incident management
• Good knowledge of the mobile development lifecycle
• Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, and third‑party libraries
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, Python, Groovy, Linux, and Bash
• Proficiency with modern platforms and frameworks such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, ElasticSearch
• iOS/Android Store Lifecyclemanagement
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑oriented environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Full professional proficiency in English

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of Oracle databases
• Familiarity with the Ergon Product Suite
• Experience in banking or financial services
