Visa Hunt is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications. This hands-on role spans architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment, collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, writing clean and maintainable code and delivering high-quality features for real-world products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#.
• Experience building web apps, backend services, or distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and OOP.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Able to write clean, well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in a US time zone, Monday to Friday.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software applications for real-world products. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is passionate about building high-quality, production-ready systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
• Build and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Stay up to date with modern software development tools, frameworks, and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#
• Experience building web applications, backend services, or distributed systems
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
