Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a software integration specialist to drive resolution of integration stories, provide estimates, and update API specifications. You will build, fix, and test API/integration services as part of a Scrum team.

You will participate in backlog planning and stand-ups, coordinate with operations, and help prepare deployment procedures and documentation. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in software development with enterprise integration experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience in a Scrum-driven environment.
• Experience with enterprise integration and consulting services delivery.
• Experience working with client teams and coordinating across delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive resolution of integration stories and issues arising from external dependencies.
• Provide technical estimates for assigned stories and issues.
• Produce updates to API technical specifications for changes.
• Build, fix, and unit test API/integration services.
• Participate in Backlog Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate with Operations to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review deployment procedures and documentation.

Job Summary:

• Identify and drive resolution of integration stories and issues, and any associated issues arising from external dependencies;
• Provide technical estimates assigned stories and issues;
• Produce any updates to API Technical Specifications in accordance to any changes made;
• Build, fix, and unit test API/integration services;
• Participate in Backlog Planning, Daily Stand-up, Reviews, and Retrospectives; and
• Work closely with the Operations team in coordinating the resolution of technical issues arising;
• Prepare and review deployment procedure and documentation

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Experience working as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework
• Experience working directly with client teams, coordinating with operations teams, and collaborating across delivery teams
• At least 2+ years of relevant software development experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in enterprise integration
• Experience in consulting services delivery
