Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a capable API integration engineer to join its team in the Philippines. You will drive resolution of integration stories, provide estimates, and update API specifications while building, fixing, and unit testing API/integration services.

You'll participate in agile ceremonies, coordinate with operations, and prepare deployment documentation, contributing to successful client-site delivery and Enterprise integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience working as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework.
• Experience working directly with client teams, coordinating with operations teams, and collaborating across delivery teams.
• 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in enterprise integration.
• Experience in consulting services delivery.
• Experience in client-site delivery.
• Eligible to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive resolution of integration stories and issues, and any associated issues arising from external dependencies.
• Provide technical estimates assigned stories and issues.
• Produce updates to API Technical Specifications in accordance with changes made.
• Build, fix, and unit test API/integration services.
• Participate in Backlog Planning, Daily Stand-up, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Operations team in coordinating the resolution of technical issues arising.
• Prepare and review deployment procedure and documentation.
