Umpisa Inc. is seeking a software developer to join a collaborative Scrum team in a fast-paced environment in Taguig. You will contribute to digital transformation and modern software development across microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in software development, strong Java 8 skills with Spring Boot, and experience with ReactJS/Node.js. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and API tooling is expected.

Competenze

• BS Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar degree
• 2+ years experience in software development
• Proficient in Java (Java 8) and Spring Boot
• Experience with RESTful microservices and REST APIs
• Familiar with ReactJS and Node.js for frontend and backend tasks
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
• Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum and testing with JUnit

Requirements

• BS Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar course
• 2+ years experience in software development
• Java Foundation/Core
• Restful Microservices/REST APIs
• Java 8

• JPA, Hibernate
• Relational Database (oracle, postgre, any -equivalent): SQLs, table structures, etc
• Maven
• Git
• Software Development Life Cyle(SDLC), Waterfall, Agile
• Meaningful tests written in JUnit
• API testing using Postman, direct curls, Swagger, any equivalent
• API documentation using Javadocs, Open Api, Swagger, any equivalent
• Debugging Java programs
• Writing/Reading Technical Documentations
• ReactJS & Node.js
