Job summary

Thurston Software Solutions, Inc is seeking a software developer to design, develop and support web-based application solutions. The role involves maintaining existing software, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with senior developers and clients.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, 1–4 years of IT experience, and hands-on experience with VB.NET/C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Service and Web API, HTML/Div, SQL Server and SSRS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year or more working experience in IT/software development.
• 1–4 years experience in IT/Software development.
• Experience with VB.NET/C#.NET and ASP.NET in Visual Studio.
• Experience designing a web UI using HTML/Div.
• Database programming with SQL Server; scripts, stored procedures, functions.
• Knowledge of SSRS reporting.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; MVC, Web Service, Web API is a plus.
• Willing to work night shift and on-site in San Juan City, Philippines.

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• 1-2 year (s) experience in VB.NET / C#.NET Programming using ASP.NET in Microsoft Visual Studio
• With experience on designing a web sites interface in ASP.NET, using HTML/DIv.
• With experience on database programming using SQL server, like scripting and creating a stored procedures and functions.
• Knowledge/experience with reporting tools, including SSRS.
• With skills and experience needed to develop software applications with agile methodologies
• Knowledge in MVC, Web Service and Web API is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work night shift and on-site at #5 Glialcon Bldg., F. Blumentritt, Brgy. Batis, San Juan City.
