Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and support teams to produce assets and campaigns.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics and suggest optimizations.
• Stay up to date with gaming trends, tools, platform updates, and community conversations.
• Support influencer partnerships, cross-channel campaigns, and content drops.
• Help moderate live chats during events or launches to ensure a positive player environment.
• Maintain and update the social media content calendar.

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator with a passion for gaming. The role is responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media content and campaigns that boost player engagement, grow communities, and enhance brand visibility across key platforms in the online gaming space.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to promote games, events, and player engagement.
• Create, schedule, and publish daily content across all social platforms, keeping the tone and style consistent with the gaming brand.
• Monitor and respond to player comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and engaging manner.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and player support teams to produce creative assets and compelling campaigns.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and suggest optimizations.
• Stay up to date with gaming trends, social media tools, platform updates, and community conversations.
• Support influencer partnerships, cross-channel campaigns, and content drops.
• Help moderate live chats during events or launches, ensuring a positive and safe player environment.
• Maintain and update the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in social media coordination or content management, ideally in online gaming, tech, or BPO.

Language Skills:

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate design and campaign concepts effectively with both creative and non-creative teams.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
• Knowledge and passion for gaming, pop culture, and digital communities is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with online player behavior and community standards is an advantage.

Computer Skills:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge on:

• Proficient in major social media platforms.
• Experience with social media management tools.
• Skilled in basic graphic design using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Familiar with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Basic video editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Canva Video.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) – a plus.
• Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com).
