Job summary

Kinettix, Inc. is seeking a SOC Analyst II to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats across the organization’s environment in the Philippines.

You will act as an escalation point for complex events, improve detection, and support incident response, threat hunting, and security process enhancement. The role requires 2–4 years in security operations, experience with SIEM/EDR/XDR and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 2–4 years in Security Operations, Incident Response or Cybersecurity.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, XDR and security monitoring platforms.
• Solid knowledge of incident response, threat detection and network security.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from multiple security tools.
• Analyze and respond to security incidents including phishing, malware, and access breaches.
• Lead threat hunting to identify indicators of compromise.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery during incidents.
• Document incidents and provide management updates.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Provide guidance to SOC Analyst I and collaborate with IT and Compliance teams.
