Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines, is seeking a proactive L1 SOC Analyst to monitor security alerts, perform triage, and support incident response.

You will generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports, ensure the health of security sensors, and collaborate with Level 2 and 3 teams to continuously improve service delivery.

The role requires a relevant degree, at least one year in SOC, Linux experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a SOC Analyst.
• Experience and knowledge of Linux-based systems.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the security alerts queue.
• Triage security alerts.
• Monitor the health of customer security sensors and infrastructure.
• Collect data and context necessary to initiate Level 2 escalation.
• Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Work closely with Level 2 & Level 3 teams towards the continuous improvement of the service.
