DXC Technology in the Philippines seeks a SOC Analyst/Cyber Defense Specialist to support security assessments, monitor events, and assist in incident response. The role collaborates with the security team to implement policies, improve processes, and stay ahead of threats.

The candidate should have a 4+ year background in information security, with at least 1+ year in a similar role, plus relevant certifications. Flexible working arrangements are offered as part of a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in information security analysis
• Proficiencies in security technologies and risk assessment
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus

Responsibilities

• Support security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, contributing to report generation and action items.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as required and assisting in containment.
• Assist with the implementation of security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with the security team on documentation and process improvement.
