Job summary

Responsibilities include surface preparation, material handling, and applying finishes to walls and ceilings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. The role requires basic education and preference for someone with at least 6 months of painting experience, a pleasing personality, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• At least SHS graduate with NCII or college level/degree in a relevant course.
• Preferably with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Pleasing personality, hardworking and willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching walls, ceilings and surfaces.
• Material handling: mixing paints, stains, varnishes to achieve desired color and finish.
• Application of finishes: priming, painting, sealing with brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Minor repairs: filling cracks/holes with putty or plaster.
• Equipment/site management: setting up scaffolding, ladders, cleaning tools, disposing hazardous materials.
• Project management: estimating material needs and project costs, ensuring on-time completion within budget.
• Client communication: discussing requirements and ensuring satisfaction with final result.
• Safety compliance: following safety guidelines and handling hazardous materials.
