Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Site Generator Operator for the NPC Ticao 2 MW site in the Philippines. You will manage power equipment, monitor generators and transformers, and perform A and B maintenance to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, precise logging, and proactive upkeep across shifts on the Ticao site. You’ll operate diesel generators, monitor fuel quality, and escalate faults as needed while maintaining extensive run-hour and performance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical vocational certificate in electrical or mechanical fields.
• 1–2 years of experience operating generator systems, preferably in Aggreko or similar environments.
• Knowledge of generator control panels, fuel systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Aggreko’s operational standards, fuel management protocols, and service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Execute routine inspections and scheduled A and B Services, including oil changes and component replacements.
• Respond promptly to system alarms and faults, performing basic repairs or escalating complex issues.
• Monitor fuel levels and quality across all units to prevent outages and maintain Aggreko standards.
• Forecast fuel needs and coordinate deliveries with suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
• Maintain precise logs of run hours, performance metrics, and fuel reconciliation reports.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including spill prevention.
• Identify and report abnormal fuel consumption patterns to support fuel efficiency initiatives.
• Track and maintain the stock of essential spare parts, fuel, and consumables.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations and fuel usage while keeping the site organized.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Site Generator Operator for NPC Ticao 2 MW Site, Philippines. You’ll be responsible to manage our power equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable operations by monitoring generator and transformer performance, overseeing fuel systems, and conducting A and B maintenance services. You are

• High school diploma or technical vocational certificate in electrical or mechanical fields.
• At least 1–2 years of experience operating generator systems, preferably in Aggreko or similar environments.
• Knowledge of generator control panels, fuel systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Aggreko’s operational standards, fuel management protocols, and service procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
