Job summary

J.V Angeles Construction Corporation is seeking a Site Engineer (Master Plumber) to oversee plumbing systems and water management installations on construction sites in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. The role focuses on ensuring code compliance, safety, and project timelines while maintaining quality standards.

You will supervise installation work, inspect systems, prepare reports, and coordinate with other trades to integrate plumbing with structure and equipment.

Qualifications

• Master Plumber license or equivalent certification recognized in the Philippines.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in plumbing installation and site supervision.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply networks, drainage systems and sanitary fixtures.
• Strong understanding of Philippine building codes, NBC and relevant plumbing standards.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate with various trades on site.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in construction.
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plumbing installation on site, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
• Inspect plumbing systems, pipework and drainage installations for quality and compliance.
• Prepare detailed plumbing reports and maintain records of work, materials and labor.
• Coordinate with other trades to integrate plumbing with structural and mechanical elements.
• Monitor material deliveries and manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment on site.
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce HSE protocols specific to plumbing operations.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site training to plumbing teams and laborers.
• Identify and resolve plumbing-related issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Liaise with project managers, architects and consultants regarding plumbing specifications and design modifications.
• Ensure project milestones are met and report progress to site management.
