Outsourced.ph in Manila is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for signage projects. You will review briefs, drawings, specs, and tender documents, source pricing, and ensure quotes meet margins and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quoting or project costing (signage, construction or manufacturing preferred).
• Understanding of materials, fabrication and installation processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review project briefs, drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for signage projects.
• Calculate material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs.
• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all estimates meet company margin and profitability targets.
• Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Work closely with Sales team to develop quotes and proposals.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and client pricing documentation.
• Provide technical and costing advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support handover of awarded projects to production and project teams.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams regarding project requirements.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for signage projects. This role supports the sales and project teams by analysing project requirements, sourcing pricing, and ensuring all quotes align with company capabilities, margins, and timelines.

Estimating & Costing

• Review project briefs, drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for signage projects
• Calculate material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs
• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure all estimates meet company margin and profitability targets
• Identify risks, cost‑saving opportunities and value engineering options

Sales & Project Support

• Work closely with Sales team to develop quotes and proposals
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and client pricing documentation
• Provide technical and costing advice to internal stakeholders
• Support handover of awarded projects to production and project teams
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams regarding project requirements

Stakeholder Communication

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments
• Respond to pricing queries in a timely and professional manner
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships
• Ensure clear communication of scope, inclusions and exclusions within quotes

Administration & Coordination

• Maintain accurate records of quotes, pricing and project documentation
• Manage incoming and outgoing emails, calls and enquiries related to estimates
• Track quote status and follow up where required
• Assist with general administrative and ad-hoc duties as required

Workplace Health & Safety

• Ensure estimates consider safe construction and installation practices
• Comply with all legislative and company WHS policies and procedures
• Promote a safety‑first approach in all project planning

Project Governance

• Support project scopes, budgets and timelines
• Ensure all estimates align with project requirements and specifications
• Identify and elevate risks or discrepancies in project documentation
• Continuously improve estimating processes and accuracy

Skills & Experience

• Experience in estimating, quoting or project costing (signage, construction or manufacturing preferred)
• Understanding of materials, fabrication and installation processes
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Technical Skills

• Experience with estimating and quoting software (desirable)
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and specifications
• Strong numerical and analytical skills

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Fridaty (6AM-3PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (Officebased)

• Eastwood, Libis
• Equipment will be provided by the company
