Content Creators is seeking a high-energy Short-Form Video Editor (Social & Hype Content) to join a specialized offshore production pod. Reporting directly to the Directors of Editorial, this role turns episode masters and raw footage into high-demand promotional assets.

You are the editor who makes audiences show up for a launch, creating trailers, teasers, previews, and platform-native social cuts that build massive engagement.

Qualifications

• Hype-building track record: experience cutting promotional material that builds anticipation for a series, launch or event.
• Short-form social mastery: understands TikTok, Shorts, and Reels and how captions boost watch time.
• On-screen copywriting: write snappy English captions and on-screen text.
• Technical proficiency: fluent in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong English communication for feedback and copy execution.
• Hardware setup: 4K multicam editing capability with a capable machine and reliable connectivity.

Responsabilités

• Cut trailers, previews, teasers and hype cuts from source footage.
• Write platform-native on-screen copy and captions with an authentic voice.
• Produce fast-turnaround social cuts (5–15s) tailored to each platform.
• Differentiate content strategies for TikTok, Shorts, Reels, Snap, and X.
• Maintain file taxonomy, tagging, delivery notes and organized assets.
• Support narrative gaming cuts or brand edits during peak workloads.

Operating with a philosophy of "thoughtful output," our client balances high-volume production with a deep care for every single piece of content created.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy Short-Form Video Editor (Social & Hype Content) to join a specialized offshore production pod. Reporting directly to the Directors of Editorial, this role turns episode masters and raw footage into high-demand promotional assets. You are the editor who makes audiences show up for a launch, creating trailers, teasers, previews, and platform-native social cuts that build massive engagement.

Responsibilities

• Cut trailers, previews, teasers, drop announcements, and hype cuts from episode masters and raw gameplay.

• Write platform-native on-screen copy and captions using an authentic TikTok and YouTube Shorts voice rather than standard corporate marketing language.

• Produce fast-turnaround social cutdowns (5-to-15-second clips, quick trims, and hooked teasers) tailored to platform behaviors.

• Differentiate content strategies across platforms: optimize specifically for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snap, and X.

• Maintain process discipline: name files to taxonomy, tag, file, and deliver assets with clear production notes.

• Flexibly support narrative gaming cuts or brand edits when pod workloads peak.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hype-Building Track Record: Demonstrated experience cutting promotional material that builds anticipation for a series, drop, launch, or creator event.

• Short-Form Social Mastery: Native understanding of TikTok, Shorts, and Reels algorithms and trends; knows why a video holds attention in the first second and why captions carry watch time.

• On-Screen Copywriting: Ability to write snappy, context-aware on-screen text and captions directly in English.

• Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• Language & Communication: Excellent written English communication for seamless feedback and copy execution.

• Hardware Setup: Must own a machine capable of 4K multicam editing (Apple Silicon M2+ or PC with dedicated GPU and 16GB+ RAM), dual displays (at least one 1440p), fiber internet (25Mbps+ upload) with a backup line, a UPS, and professional mixing headphones/monitors.

Nice-to-Have

• Working knowledge of gaming culture (Roblox, Fortnite, GTA, Minecraft).

• Motion graphics capability in After Effects for dynamic text overlays and callouts.

• Experience utilizing AI tools for fast transcription, captioning, and selects.

• Basic graphic design skills in Photoshop or Figma for thumbnail and teaser creation.
