Qualifications

Several years of professional video editing experience.
Strong skills in cutting, trimming, pacing, captions, and transitions.
Ability to edit manually from scratch, without relying on AI editing tools.
Proficiency in professional video editing software.
Proven ability to handle high-volume work while keeping quality high.
Proactive follow-up habits, especially around missing assets and deadlines.
Clear-headed, deadline-minded, and well suited to independent remote work.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form ad videos, typically under 1 to 2 minutes, from raw footage to final export
Cut, trim, and pace videos to hold attention and drive results
Add captions, transitions, and on-screen elements that suit each ad's goal
Produce multiple creative variations quickly to support a high volume of ad tests
Follow up proactively with clients when assets or materials are missing
Keep projects organized and deliver finished edits on time
Support company branding and content projects during downtime
Take feedback on performance and revise creatives accordingly
