Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in Metro South is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead branch operations on-site. The role focuses on ensuring strong customer service while complying with AMLC and regulatory rules, and helping the branch meet profitability goals.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree in business or accounting and at least five years of supervisory experience in branch operations, preferably from another bank. Join us to grow with a market-leading bank.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and AMLC requirements including KYC, account openings, monitoring and reporting transactions.
• Oversee and approve a variety of over-the-counter transactions, manage time deposits, loans, and remittances, ensuring compliance and great customer experience.
• Promptly acknowledge, log, report, and resolve complaints with complete tracking.
• Record daily store transactions, reconcile ledgers, and assist in achieving profitability targets.

As a Service Manager, you are responsible for running the store operations and ensuring great customer service, while following company and regulatory rules. You will also help the store meet its profit goals.

What The Role Will Entail

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and AMLC requirements, including opening new accounts, monitoring, and reporting transactions, maintaining KYC (Know Your Customer) records, updating customer information, issuing manager's checks, and managing remittances.
• Oversee and approve a variety of over-the-counter transactions beyond teller authority, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage time deposit placements, and aim for excellent customer experiences with efficient processing and error management. This includes handling checkbook orders, dealing with unclaimed checkbooks, processing bills, managing loans, clearing items, and addressing in-clearing check defects, while also supporting various banking groups like Corporate Banking, Wealth Management/Treasury, and Consumer.
• Ensure prompt acknowledgment, logging, reporting, and resolution of complaints, and verify the accurate completion of the complaint tracking register with all necessary information.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily store transactions based on Teller totals and documents, manage temporary accounts timely, and reconcile General Ledger balances with subsidiary ledgers/records.
• Assist in achieving Stores profitability target.
  

What were looking for

• College graduate, preferably any Business or Accounting-related course
• With at least five (5) years supervisory experience in handling in branch operations
• Preferably Assistant Managers from another bank with the same experience
