Job summary

Marketing Done Right (MDR) is building a Philippines-based team to lead client SEO projects from strategy to ROI reporting. The SEO Strategist owns the why and when, guiding a pod of specialists, VAs, and content creators to execute data-driven roadmaps.

You'll collaborate across content, design, development, and PPC, perform audits, track timelines, and ensure results in rankings and traffic while maintaining thorough documentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or team setting.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
• Familiar with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify.
• Ability to organize and analyze exported SEO data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions while also working independently.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (content, design, development, PPC).
• Ability to delegate and oversee tasks completed by SEO Supports.

Responsibilities

• Improve client revenue and lead generation through SEO, AEO, GEO.
• Lead a Pod of specialists and SEO Support in implementing SEO strategies and recommendations.
• Suggest, delegate, and implement actionable improvements based on competitor research, content audits, and traffic analysis.
• Perform on-page optimizations, including metadata updates, internal linking, and content formatting.
• Export, clean, and organize data from SEO tools for use in reporting and analysis.
• Track timelines, deliverables, and workflows to help keep campaigns on schedule.
• Conduct quality checks on SEO tasks to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (content, design, development, PPC) to support campaign execution.
• Maintain documentation of SEO changes, updates, and completed tasks.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm changes.
