Job summary
Lago is seeking an SEO Specialist for a remote LATAM position. You will develop and execute SEO strategies spanning technical, on-page, and off-page work to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, are proficient with Ahrefs/SEMrush/Moz, and can collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on SEO experience with a track record of improving rankings.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO including site architecture, crawl budget, and schema markup.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to report to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page.
- Perform keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and inform content strategy.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with development teams to fix crawlability, site speed, and structured data issues.
- Optimize metadata, content structure, and internal linking for better crawl and UX.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on organic performance using GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
