Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO Linkbuilder to support organic search growth through strategic link building, digital PR, outreach, and relationship development.

The role will focus on researching relevant websites, identifying link-building opportunities, managing outreach campaigns, securing high-quality backlinks, and supporting off-page SEO strategies across multiple projects and industries. The successful candidate will understand search engine optimization, domain authority, content relevance, anchor text, and ethical link acquisition practices.

This is a detail-oriented, results-driven role requiring strong written communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage outreach activities independently while collaborating with SEO, content, and marketing teams.

The role may be remote and will work with international clients, websites, publishers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute white-hat link-building campaigns aligned with SEO goals, target keywords, content strategies, and client requirements.

• Research and identify relevant, authoritative, and trustworthy websites, blogs, publications, directories, and industry resources for backlink opportunities.

• Conduct prospecting using SEO tools and evaluate websites based on domain authority, domain rating, organic traffic, topical relevance, spam signals, audience quality, and link placement opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with website owners, editors, bloggers, publishers, journalists, and digital marketing professionals.

• Develop personalized outreach emails and follow-up sequences to secure guest posts, editorial links, resource links, link insertions, partnerships, and digital PR placements.

• Coordinate guest post and link insertion opportunities from prospecting and negotiation through content submission, publication, and quality assurance.

• Collaborate with content writers and SEO specialists to create linkable assets, guest articles, resource pages, and outreach content.

• Monitor backlink profiles and track acquired links, referring domains, anchor text, link attributes, placement status, and campaign performance.

• Use tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, spreadsheets, and outreach platforms to research, manage, and report on campaigns.

• Maintain accurate prospect lists, outreach records, contact databases, campaign reports, and link acquisition documentation.

• Analyze competitor backlink profiles and identify new link-building opportunities, content gaps, and industry trends.

• Ensure all link-building activities follow search engine guidelines, client policies, editorial standards, and ethical SEO best practices.

• Report campaign progress, placement results, key performance indicators, challenges, and recommendations to SEO managers and clients as required.

• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, digital PR practices, outreach techniques, and changes in link-building best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in SEO link building, off-page SEO, blogger outreach, digital PR, or online marketing.

• Strong understanding of search engine optimization, backlink profiles, domain authority, domain rating, referring domains, anchor text, and link quality.

• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics.

• Experience with guest posting, link insertions, resource link building, broken link building, competitor backlink analysis, and editorial outreach.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, personalized, and persuasive outreach messages.

• Strong research and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to evaluate websites for relevance, authority, organic visibility, content quality, and potential spam risks.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple SEO campaigns, deadlines, prospects, and follow-ups.

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, project management platforms, and CRM or outreach systems.

• Understanding of content marketing, editorial guidelines, website publishing processes, and basic HTML is an advantage.
