Job summary

Pinoy SEO is seeking a detail‑oriented SEO QA specialist to ensure our client work actually ships and ranks. You won’t write content or build citations; you’ll catch issues before delivery, verify schema and GBP posts, and verify overall quality.

You’ll monitor rankings and traffic across accounts, audits against our standards, and provide clear feedback to the team. This is a high‑attention role with ownership of quality across campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO with strong local SEO and GBP experience.
• Experience with Google algorithm updates and volatility assessment.
• Ability to review others' finished pages for proper execution.
• Fluent in Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and rank trackers.
• Comfortable in WordPress and inspecting live client sites.
• Strong written English in reports and feedback.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on identifying issues.

Midstream Digital Marketing gets financial advisory firms to the top of local search and keeps them there. One of our clients has held the #1 Google map pack position in Houston — one of the most competitive advisor markets in the US — since 2015. We already have a full team of SEO specialists, writers, and web people doing the work. What we don’t have is one person whose entire job is making sure all of it is actually happening, and actually working. This is not a task-execution role. You won’t be writing the content or building the citations. You’ll be the person who catches it when a ranking slips, when a Google Business Profile post didn’t go out, when a page got published with broken schema, or when a client account has quietly gone three weeks without anything shipping.

What you’ll own

• Monitor rankings, traffic, and Search Console across all client accounts — daily on key terms, weekly on the full set
• Spot and elevate problems early: ranking drops, traffic declines, indexing issues, crawl errors, site outages, review-rating dips
• Audit the team’s completed work against our standards before it reaches the client — titles, metas, schema, internal links, citation accuracy, GBP posts
• Track that every recurring deliverable actually shipped, on every account, every month
• Keep ClickUp honest: flag tasks that are stalled, overdue, or marked complete without the work being done
• Run competitor monitoring — know when someone is moving on our clients’ positions before our clients do
• Build the monthly performance report for each account: what moved, what didn’t, what’s at risk
• Give the team specific, documented feedback on what needs rework and why

What we need from you

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO, with significant local SEO and Google Business Profile experience. You must have done this work yourself to be able to judge it
• You’ve been through multiple Google algorithm updates and know the difference between a real ranking problem and normal volatility
• The ability to look at someone else’s finished page and tell whether it was done properly
• Fluent in Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and a rank tracker (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
• Comfortable in WordPress — you’ll be inspecting live client sites, not just dashboards
• Strong written English. Your reports and your feedback both need to be clear and professional
• Genuinely detail-oriented. This role is 80% noticing things
• Willing to raise problems directly, including when the answer is “this was done wrong, it needs redoing.” If you avoid difficult conversations, this isn’t your role
• Reliable internet with a backup connection

• Experience overseeing or QA-ing other SEO people’s work
• Financial services, wealth management, or other regulated/YMYL experience
