Reap is seeking a hands-on Subject Matter Expert in Transaction Monitoring to build the next-gen monitoring capability. You will clear backlogs, tune detection logic, and establish scalable SOPs across card schemes and digital asset flows.

This role requires leading investigations into high-risk alerts, mentoring peers, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to optimize rules in a fast-growing fintech environment. Hybrid/remote options available.

Formación

• 8–15 years focused on Transaction Monitoring.
• Fintech, Payments (card issuing/acquiring) or Web3/Crypto exposure with fiat vs blockchain flow knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of Visa/Mastercard scheme monitoring obligations & AML/fraud typologies.
• Hands-on with TM and blockchain analytics tools (Unit21, Flagright, Chainalysis, Elliptic) and clear rule logic.
• Start-up mindset: able to navigate ambiguity while shaping strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on Transaction Monitoring & Investigations.
• Lead complex AML, fraud, and crypto-typology investigations.
• Triage backlogs for Visa and digital-asset alerts within SLAs; document rationale.
• File SARs/STRs with authorities; maintain audit trails.
• Deep-dive forensic analysis across fiat and blockchain txn webs.
• Vendor liaison for TM systems migration; optimize rules.
• Analyze alert performance; reduce false positives with Product/Engineering.
• Design/testing of new TM scenarios for PSP and crypto risks.
• Draft and own SOPs aligned with FCC policies.
• Translate regulatory requirements into process steps and controls.
• Define escalation matrices and QC checkpoints.
• Mentor TM team; set investigation quality standards.
• On-call guidance; conduct spot checks and best practices reviews.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and create playbooks.
