  • Experience in design and analysis of steel and concrete structures with a collaborative approach.
  • Familiar with US codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Background in semiconductor or general industrial facilities is valued.
  • Proficient in STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam; open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Your impact

As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will be a key member of the design team, assisting in structural analysis and design across a variety of projects. You’ll collaborate closely with your Structural Lead, fellow engineers and designers, and other disciplines to develop design concepts, perform analysis, and communicate structural requirements through drawings and models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering and analysis under general supervision.
  • Develop engineering judgment and problem-solving skills, seeking guidance when needed.
  • Apply seismic design principles and building code provisions.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and quality control, including checking your own work and reviewing others’ calculations.
  • Take ownership of assigned structural scope, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Define your scope clearly and begin forecasting effort required; escalate scope changes when necessary.
  • Support junior engineers and collaborate with peers to resolve technical challenges.
  • Participate in field walks, which may include climbing ladders, crawling under raised floors, or extended standing/walking.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, ideally with a focus on Structural Engineering.
  • Certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Brings a minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering across diverse project types.
  • Experienced in the design and analysis of steel and concrete structures, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Familiar with U.S. building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Background in semiconductor or general industrial facility projects is valued.
  • Proficient in tools such as STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and diverse perspectives.
