Job summary

ICON plc in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer I (R Programming) for a homebased role in Manila. You will analyze clinical trial data and support statistical analysis to ensure high-quality results.

You will lead SAS programming tasks, collaborate with biostatisticians, validate outputs, and prepare stats reports for regulatory submissions. Strong SAS, basic R, and attention to detail are required for a remote role from Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in statistical programming, preferably in clinical research.
• Strong proficiency in SAS programming and solid understanding of statistics.
• Basic proficiency in R programming applied to clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Developing and validating SAS programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
• Collaborating with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and methods.
• Performing quality control checks on statistical outputs and reporting accuracy.
• Assisting in preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Contributing to process improvements in programming practices.
