Job summary

Globant in Manila seeks a Senior Solution Architect, Data & AI, Expert Level to shape digital transformations by designing enterprise data solutions and leading cross-functional teams on client engagements.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering or consulting, 5+ years in architecture, strong cloud/API/security expertise, and travel within the Philippines. Manila-based or relocation-friendly, with hybrid/onsite work options.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years in software engineering, technology consulting, or enterprise tech.
• 5+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing complex enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of architecture patterns, cloud, APIs, integration, security, and SDLC.
• Experience delivering Data & AI solutions including governance.
• Understanding of generative AI and agentic architectures.
• Ability to estimate, assess risks, and explain cost implications.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills with executives and tech teams.
• Excellent English, with presentation and documentation skills.
• Based in Manila or willing to relocate; travel within the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Design complex enterprise solutions and lead multidisciplinary teams through implementation.
• Demonstrate architecture patterns, cloud platforms, APIs, integration, and security.
• Deliver Data & AI solutions including data platforms, governance, and production AI apps.
• Apply generative AI concepts: model selection, retrieval, orchestration, and ops.
• Produce credible estimates and explain cost and delivery implications.
• Engage with clients at executive and technical levels.

• Typically 10+ years in software engineering, technology consulting, or enterprise technology, including 5+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing complex enterprise solutions and leading multidisciplinary teams through implementation.
• Strong knowledge of architecture patterns, cloud platforms, APIs, integration, security, and the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Data & AI solutions, including data platforms, pipelines, governance, and production AI applications.
• Practical understanding of generative AI and agentic architectures, including model selection, retrieval, evaluation, orchestration, and operational considerations.
• Ability to produce credible estimates, assess technical risks, and explain the cost and delivery implications of architecture decisions.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills, with confidence engaging both executives and technical teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English, including presentation, facilitation, and technical documentation.
• Based in Manila or willing to relocate, with availability for client-site engagement and travel within the Philippines.
