Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the core enterprise platform, drive reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across applications, infrastructure, and production support.

You will develop, maintain, and optimize mission-critical systems using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Oracle, while collaborating with global teams to improve incident response and release management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support.
• Hands-on with C#, ASP.NET, XML, REST Web Services; SQL Server & Oracle DB.
• Experience administering Windows Server & IIS; Dynatrace or similar monitoring.
• Familiarity with OpenVMS, Linux/Unix environments; network gear like F5 & Cisco.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, XML, and REST APIs.
• Manage Windows Server, IIS, scheduled tasks, and services.
• Monitor health with Dynatrace and related tools; support OpenVMS or Linux/Unix environments.
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure including F5 Load Balancers and Cisco devices.
• Support and optimize SQL Server and Oracle databases; develop stored procedures and SSIS packages.
• Participate in incident, problem, and release management; lead root cause analysis.
• Drive automation initiatives and operational improvements; collaborate across teams to ensure stability.

Are you a versatile engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges across applications, infrastructure, databases, and production operations We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about system reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll support and enhance mission-critical enterprise applications while driving operational excellence across development, infrastructure, and production support functions.

What You'll Do

Develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, XML, and REST APIs

Manage and support Windows Servers, IIS, Scheduled Tasks, and Services

Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace and related tools

Support OpenVMS or Linux/Unix environments

Troubleshoot and maintain F5 Load Balancers, Cisco Routers, and network infrastructure

Support and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases

Develop database objects including Stored Procedures and SSIS packages

Participate in incident, problem, and release management activities

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Drive automation initiatives and operational improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance

What We’re Looking For
