Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services.

You will contribute to full-stack development across backend, APIs, and modern web apps, with emphasis on Java/Spring, React/Node.js, and secure authentication via OKTA. The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in software development, experience with relational databases (MSSQL/PostgreSQL), and Agile/Scrum teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring / Spring Boot RESTful web services; Node.js and React skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Build and enhance modern front-end applications using React and Node.js.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Implement secure authentication and authorization with OKTA and other IdPs.
• Develop secure API integrations using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
