Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of development experience in Go, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining SPAs on frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency with distributed systems built on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
• Experience in developing serverless and container-based microservices.
• Experience driving AI adoption in engineering workflows.
• Track record mentoring engineers and elevating teams.

As a member of the Data Experiences team, you will build access to one of the world’s most comprehensive clinicogenomic datasets, partnering with product, engineering, analytics, AI, and commercial teams to create full-stack products that unlock novel research discoveries, surface health-system insights, and accelerate therapeutic development.

Senior Software Engineer – Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement software systems that leverage best practices and are scalable.
• Use AI in day-to-day development, direct coding agents, build evaluation frameworks, and drive AI adoption in engineering workflows.
• Own cloud-native applications across frontend, backend, and testing domains.
• Deploy and operate software with reliability and scale for our users.
• Own deliverables from idea to production launch.
• Mentor other engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of development experience in Go, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining SPA’s on frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency with distributed systems built on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
• Experience developing and owning serverless (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Lambda) and container-based microservices.
• Experience implementing and passion for driving AI adoption in engineering workflows.
• Experience architecting large, high-scale durable back-end or front-end systems.
• Experience driving changes through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (aws-cdk, terraform, pulumi).
• Track record mentoring engineers and elevating teams.
• Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Pluses

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science or related field.
• Familiarity working with regulated software systems (HIPAA, ISO, FDA).
• Experience architecting and developing event-driven systems following Domain-Driven Design.
• Familiarity working in an agile environment.

  • Base salary: $101,333 – $131,145 MXN/monthly.
  • Discretionary annual bonus: 5% of salary.
