Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer proficient in C# and Java to develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications for post-trade affirmation and confirmation workflows, including real-time message processing.

The role involves building robust server-side components, integrating with FIX-based systems, and working across global teams within a SaFe/Agile environment. You will mentor peers and collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to ensure reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Essential multi-year professional experience in global financial services; experience with messaging, trade confirmations, clearing, STP and 3rd party messaging vendor integrations is advantageous.
• Proven server-side design and development experience in banking/trading environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop message consumption, transformation and publishing capabilities.
• Maintain code quality via testing and code reviews.
• Provide L3 support for deployment and production issue investigations.
• Follow SaFe agile methodology and participate in ceremonies.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to follow guidelines.
