Job summary

Nir Yu is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the core engineering team. You will design, build, and ship production features for our AI platform with a strong focus on data compliance, privacy, and security, handling sensitive business data and multilingual workflows.

You will work directly with the founding team and report to the CTO in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment. This is an individual-contributor role with potential to grow into technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on software engineering experience (backend, full-stack, or platform).
• Strong understanding of data compliance and privacy in SaaS, AI, fintech, healthtech, or regulated environments.
• Proficiency in modern tech stacks (Node.js/Python/Go) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience building production systems handling user data securely at scale.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable in a remote startup environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend, full-stack, or platform features for our multimodal AI system (Agent VIC).
• Implement and maintain data compliance controls: encryption, consent management, audit logging, data minimization, privacy-by-design, and adherence to GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and other standards.
• Build reliable integrations for voice AI, lead management, customer communication, and workflow automation.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to deliver secure, high-quality features that scale with our SMB customer base.
• Proactively improve system reliability, performance, and security.
