Job summary

Stryker Corporation in the Philippines seeks a software engineer to design, build, and maintain complex systems using C#, ASP.NET MVC, React and cloud technologies. You will work in a hybrid role with global teams and apply Agile practices to deliver robust applications.

The role emphasizes secure Windows/Cloud/Web development, integration of REST/Web APIs, and continuous improvement of software quality. Travel is limited to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science or a related field
• 4+ years of design and development of complex software systems
• Exposure to Azure cloud Development with at least 2 year of experience developing cloud-based applications BackEnd: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, .NET Core, Web/Rest API, Windows Services
• Strong experience in developing responsive and scalable web applications using React.js, angular/typeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with Redux, REST APIs, responsive design, accessibility standards
• Experienced in design, development, and integration of REST / SOAP / Web APIs on .NET stack
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure DevOps is a plus

What you will do

You will participate in technical discussion and collaborate with team to produce component and sub-system level designs. You will specialize in cloud/ web technology domains. You will apply the defined design practices including Agile methodology and use sound software engineering principles to ensure that the application software products are safe, robust, and user-friendly. Design, implementation, and testing of secure windows/cloud / web applications. Collaborate with global and local development teams. Maintain and Support existing applications.

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge of Object‑Oriented software architecture
• Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM is a plus
• Understanding of medical device software development processes and regulated environments is preferred

Work Flexibility Remote –

Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based –

You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite –

Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid –

You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
