Job summary

Coins is the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, offering a secure platform for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. We seek a Senior SOC Engineer to oversee security operations, threat intelligence, and incident response for our digital asset platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in SOC, strong SIEM skills, cloud security experience, and certifications such as CISSP or CEH. You will work with cross-functional teams to protect customer funds and assets across blockchain-based systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in SOC operations, preferably in financial services or crypto exchanges.
• Certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GCTI, CEH or equivalent security certs.
• SIEM expertise with Sum o Logic, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.
• Threat intelligence experience with platforms such as MISP, ThreatConnect, Anomali and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or similar for automation and analysis.
• Cloud security experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and container environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC operations for crypto exchange infrastructure, trading platforms and wallets.
• Oversee real-time security event analysis and incident response coordination.
• Develop and maintain security playbooks and post-incident reports.
• Coordinate with external threat intel providers and security partners.
