Job summary

RemotePass in the Philippines is seeking an experienced SEO/content strategist who blends traditional SEO with AI‑driven discovery. You’ll own content strategy end to end across blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, case studies, and resources, aiming to drive leads and pipeline rather than vanity metrics.

You’ll work with our Head of Marketing, build lightweight tools, and experiment with AI visibility tools. If you’re curious, scrappy, and focused on measurable outcomes, we want to talk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SEO/content experience in B2B with a deep understanding of B2B fundamentals.
• AI-first mindset: using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity in workflow.
• Comfort building lightweight tools independently.
• Commercial mindset focusing on leads and pipeline over vanity metrics.
• Strong writing, editing, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own content strategy end to end across blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, case studies, and resources.

• Use first‑party data to shape content decisions and priorities.

The role

We’re not hiring a traditional SEO content strategist. If your pitch is "I grow organic traffic," this isn’t the role for you. We’re looking for someone who lives at the intersection of old‑school SEO and where content is actually heading: ranking in AI engines, showing up on the platforms people are searching inside of now (think YouTube, Reddit), and using our own first‑party data to build content and tools that drive pipeline, not just impressions.

You’ll own our content strategy end to end and report directly to our Head of Marketing. Our Technical SEO Lead handles everything technical, so you don’t need to be a technical SEO, you need to be someone who’s hungry, scrappy, and genuinely curious about how content and discovery are changing right now. We want someone comfortable building their own tools, and someone who thinks commercially: leads and pipeline first, vanity metrics a distant second.

What you’ll do

• Own our content strategy end to end, across blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, case studies, and resources
• Focus on how we rank and appear in AI engines and third‑party platforms (YouTube, Reddit, and beyond), not just traditional search
• Use our first‑party data to shape content decisions and identify what to double down on
• Build your own tools for content creation and lead capture, using AI tools and a scrappy, hands‑on approach rather than waiting on product/dev support
• Dig into analytics to understand what’s actually performing and why, then replicate it
• Partner with our Technical SEO Lead on keyword/topic alignment, while owning the content strategy yourself
• Brief and manage designers, writers, and other contributors to bring content to life
• Track and report on leads, pipeline, and AI‑visibility metrics, not just traffic and impressions
• Build both on page and off page SEO including internal linking, link building and third party brand mentions

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of SEO/content experience in B2B with a deep understanding of B2B fundamentals
• A genuinely AI‑first mindset: you’re already using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity in your workflow, and ideally already experimenting with AI‑visibility tools (we use Profound and are adopting Athena)
• Comfort building your own lightweight tools rather than waiting on engineering support
• A commercial mindset — you think in leads and pipeline, not just traffic and rankings
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in English
• Comfort working across multiple stakeholders and owning deliverables end to end
• A "figuring it out as we go" mentality — this space is moving fast and nobody has it fully solved yet, we want someone energized by that, not someone with a fixed playbook

Nice to have

• Experience creating localized/international content (EMEA/MENA/GCC markets)
• Familiarity with remote work, HR, payroll, or compliance topics
