Job summary

ATOS Information Technology Inc. in Makati City seeks a Senior Security Architect to design and manage robust security architectures across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will translate complex requirements into proven frameworks, align with ISO 27001 and NIST standards, and guide a team to strengthen our security posture. The role emphasizes strategic guidance, collaboration with IT leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years in cybersecurity with at least 5 in security architecture or senior role
• Deep knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and industry regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS)
• Proven experience designing security architectures for on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Strong IAM, network security, encryption, DLP, and endpoint security expertise
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and containerised environments
• Proficient with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Professional security certifications (CISSP, CCSK, TOGAF Security) desirable
• Analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect to join our growing security team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time, hybrid position working day shift, offering flexibility in how and where you work. As a Senior Security Architect, you will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security solutions that protect our clients' critical infrastructure and data. You will be responsible for translating complex security requirements into robust architectural frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards. This position is instrumental in strengthening our security posture and positioning ATOS as a trusted security partner in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-wide security architectures that align with organisational objectives and industry standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant frameworks
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and architectural gaps across client environments
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of security solutions, including identity and access management, network security, data protection, and cloud security measures
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and compliance teams, to translate security requirements into actionable architectural solutions
• Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines that establish a strong security culture and governance framework
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert consultation on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices
• Mentor and guide junior security team members, fostering their professional development and expertise
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure continued relevance of security strategies
• Support incident response and remediation efforts by providing architectural recommendations and security expertise
• Prepare detailed security architecture documentation, risk assessments, and compliance reports for senior management and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a security architecture or senior technical security role
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and industry-specific regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.)
• Proven expertise in designing security architectures for enterprise environments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and endpoint security
• Experience with cloud security across major platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerised environments
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), security information and event management (SIEM), and vulnerability management solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with demonstrated ability to guide and develop technical teams
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, TOGAF Security, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Problem‑solving mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment whilst managing multiple priorities
