Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Manila seeks a Senior Security Analyst to join our Manila-based team, working UK-aligned hours. You will lead front-line security operations, investigate Major and Priority 1 incidents, and mitigate threats to strengthen our global security posture.

This permanent, hybrid role offers a flexible schedule (two days in the office) and a supportive environment within a world-renowned not-for-profit publisher affiliated with the University of Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Security Operations experience.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, monitoring and forensic tools.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapes.
• Experience across the full incident response lifecycle (detection to post-incident review).
• Experience conducting root-cause analysis and risk assessments, with ability to identify gaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex L2/L3 security incidents from detection to resolution.
• Review incident reports and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide quality reviews of investigations and risk assessments.
• Identify and lead improvements to incident response processes and controls.
• Act as escalation point and coach analysts on complex cases.
