Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an experienced SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant with strong utilities billing domain expertise and hands-on SAP IS-U configuration experience. The role covers designing, configuring, testing, and supporting complex billing scenarios, including rate configuration, invoicing, tariff management, and regulatory compliance in a utilities environment.

Qualifications

6+ years SAP IS-U experience with a focus on Billing and utilities
Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end utilities implementations
Strong knowledge of rate configuration, invoicing processes, and FI-CA integration
Good understanding of utilities pricing and tariff models

Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP IS-U Billing module including rate categories, billing schemas, and invoicing parameters
Handle end-to-end utilities billing processes such as periodic, final, and estimated billing
Ensure integration with FI-CA, device management, meter reading, and customer service
Lead requirement gathering workshops, create FSDs, and drive SIT/UAT and cutover activities
Provide L2/L3 production support and drive billing performance improvements and automation
