Job summary

Alstom is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate railway power supply systems, including LV distribution, earthing, lighting pole erection, and cable routing. You will also review specifications, support procurement, and assist in project planning and field execution.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, construction, tests, and commissioning teams to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery across transportation infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles for railway power supply systems.
• Understanding of installation methodologies, construction sequencing and field execution practices.
• Experience in procurement processes and contractor management.
• Ability to review technical documents, drawings, specifications and engineering deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of outdoor lighting systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders for integration and execution.
• Review supplier submissions and ensure compliance with project requirements.
