Job summary

Onemci is seeking a Senior RAG Engineer to design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation platforms powering AI solutions for enterprise needs. You will lead architecture, ingestion, indexing, and best-practice standards to ensure scalable, secure knowledge access.

You will drive improvements in vector search, embedding techniques, and information retrieval while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product teams to deploy AI-enabled workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Extensive knowledge of embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and information retrieval techniques.
• Experience building scalable retrieval, indexing, and knowledge management systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer.
