Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive design, development, and operations of predictive analytics platforms and analytical apps across enterprise insurance analytics initiatives.

You will provide technical leadership, guide architecture, ensure code quality, and collaborate with data scientists, actuaries, product owners, and global teams to deliver production-ready solutions in a fast-evolving Azure cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software engineering or analytics platform experience.
• 3+ years as a technical lead or senior engineer guiding design and delivery.
• Strong Python development for enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native/serverless architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Solid experience with SQL and data warehouse platforms (Azure SQL, Snowflake, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting production systems and user-facing applications.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for analytics-enabled applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Contribute to solution architecture, design standards, and best practices for cloud-native platforms.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies aligned with Azure analytics modernization.
• Ensure secure coding, performance benchmarks, and engineering guidelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services for analytical models.
• Lead RESTful API development ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Build and support applications using Azure Functions, Container Apps, Storage, and SQL.
• Ensure high-quality code via reviews, tests, and documentation.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize cloud resources and resilience.
• Support production releases, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and translate analytical requirements into production-ready solutions.
