Job summary

Questronix Corporation is hiring a Python/Django backend developer in the Philippines to translate client requirements into robust software. You will build RESTful APIs, leverage DRF, and work with PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQLite databases, ORM design, and async processing with Celery.

The role involves integrating frontend and backend, supervising tests, and contributing to dashboards analytics while collaborating with UX/UI designers. Strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional Python development with a strong Django focus.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQLite and ORM design.
• Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of the client and implement functional requirements accordingly.
• Help in designing the software architecture.
• Build backend features in Python-Django that are efficient.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components into the application.
• Supervise the testing of software and ensure that all bugs are fixed.
• Develop technical reports for the software.
• Implement designs into code by collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Keep suggesting improvements to enhance software functioning.
