Job summary

Ingram Micro Philippines BPO LLC is looking for a procurement professional who will purchase products and services, keep inventory levels, and negotiate the best deals with vendors.

You will collaborate with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing and shipments, and you may mentor junior staff. Required: two-year college degree or equivalent with 3 years in the function, or a high school diploma with 5 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in the functional area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of functional experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Substantial understanding of the job and ability to apply knowledge to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Purchases products and services to meet company requirements and maintain inventory levels.
• Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standards.
• Interfaces with internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, shipments, etc.
• Buyers may specialize in a specific area or provide functional support (sales).
• Supports personnel by managing paperwork and purchasing system transactions.
