Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Project Manager Engineering - Footprint to lead footprint projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across sites, ensure scope, schedule, and budget milestones, and contribute to the global footprint strategy adherence.

The role demands strong PM skills, English proficiency, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a hybrid work environment within the Netherlands/Trutnov footprint network.

Qualifications

• Engineer with university degree or equivalent.
• Formal project management education and/or PMI certification (CAPM, PMP, PgMP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude.
• Proficiency with project management tools, especially MS Project; knowledge of Planisware is a plus.

• Lead footprint projects portfolio across multiple sites and countries.

Job Description:

You will be responsible to provide leadership over footprint projects, leading the technical domain of single or multiple footprint projects from first idea to final project status. Ultimately responsible for meeting project scope, schedule, and budget milestones.

Main tasks:

Strategy

• Manage a footprint projects portfolio of medium to high complexity initiatives that span across multiple production sites and countries.
• Adherence to project management process and contribute on PRS Global Footprint Strategy execution
• Maximize PjM performance, profitability, competitiveness, and customer Expectations in adherence to PMO KPI’s

Execution

• Work in a cross-functional environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Manage project risk, compliance, and enterprise governance.
• Create & maintain the footprint roadmap for her / his responsible sites.
• Support Operation Leader and Factory Managers by completing the projects on time and communicating them proactively
• Support the business with in‑sourcing / out‑sourcing production lines and the production capacity rightsizing projects
• Direct cross-functional project team members at sending and receiving sites (Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance…) and take full accountable to the Project Approval Committee (PAC) for designated projects.
• Promote and support an atmosphere of continuous improvement in compliance with (TEOA) approach (through leading and contributing in Kaizen events, Improving team’s capabilities)
• Support on driving the PMO best Practices and establish Dynamic Lessons learned routines with processes and workflows adjustments

Your ideal background:

• Engineer with university degree or equivalent
  5+ years of professional experience in Project Management
• Formal project management education and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (CAPM, PMP, or PgMP)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, analytical skills
• Good communicationand presentation skills
• Ability todemonstratestrong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude
• Strong and thorough knowledge of technical tools specific to Project Management, as well as knowledge of general engineering tools. Experienced MS Project user
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi‑task
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi‑cultural teams
• Ability to form strong teams anddemonstratestrong leadership skills
• Proactive, resilient, and self‑confident
• Good English knowledge, verbal and written (also for presenting)

Preferred:

• Statistical knowledge (Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, AIAG and other statistical standards) / Green / Black Belt
• Specialized and profound knowledge in electronics, physics,mechanicsand plastics
• Background in footprint or manufacturing projects
• Prior knowledge of TE Project / Planisware Software
