Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a seasoned Project Controls & Finance Manager to lead project controls, financial management, procurement coordination, and reporting across multiple workstreams. You will ensure costs, schedules, procurement activities, and financial data are tracked and communicated to leadership.

The role requires independence, multi-project prioritization, and delivering clear insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Hybrid setup and day shift offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls, project accounting or related field.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, industrial, construction or similar projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost management and financial reporting.
• Experience with government grant compliance and acquittal processes.
• Proficiency with Xero and finance tools for reporting and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project control processes: cost tracking, scheduling, procurement, reporting, risk management.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual project reports for leadership and board.
• Administer government grants, ensuring compliant expenditures and documentation.
• Coordinate with bookkeeper, project managers, and contractors for invoicing and cost allocations.
• Develop cost trackers, budgets, forecasts, and financial controls across workstreams.
• Identify variances, risks, and mitigation plans; escalate with clear recommendations.
