Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a skilled Product Owner based in Metro Manila to manage and prioritize the product backlog, translate business strategies into development tasks, and drive the sprint planning process. You will work closely with product management and the development team to deliver data-driven features and digital experiences that enhance customer satisfaction.

This senior individual contributor role requires 5+ years of total experience with 3+ in the field, preferably in tech,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of total work experience, and 3 years related to the field.
Preferably from Technology, Financial Services/Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, Retail, E-commerce, Healthcare, or data-intensive industries.
Individual Contributor with strong Senior Product Owner/Product Manager experience; limited people-management.

Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Translate the Business Owners strategies to tasks for development.
Break epics into user stories.
Arrange and prioritize sprints.
Evaluate progress at each stage of development.
Stay accessible and answer Development Team's questions about the reasoning for user stories or tasks.
Serve as a liaison between product and development like a Scrum Master.
