The role requires insightful analytics, strong English communication, and willingness to work in shifts. A background in product control and advanced Excel skills are essential, with CPA/CFA/FRM as an advantage.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Product Control experience or similar discipline.
• Knowledge of financial products, risks, data flows and P&L accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Demonstrated leadership potential; people management not required.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; VBA or Python experience is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA and FRM are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial accounting, control and analytical support to the MSS business.
• Lead P&L reporting, reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Monitor exception reporting and perform inter-system reconciliations.
• Maintain data integrity, system interfaces and access controls.
• Support balance sheet substantiation and periodic returns.
• Coordinate with auditors and support control process enhancements.
• Drive changes and automation to reduce operational risk.
• Mentor junior staff and assist Team Lead with workload allocation.
