Job summary

RTX Philippines in Tanauan is seeking a onsite Supply Chain specialist responsible for leading the resolution of critical material shortages, coordinating with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering and Logistics to protect production continuity, and ensuring supplier delivery aligns with MRP requirements and on-dock dates.

You will monitor supplier performance, drive recovery plans, improve on-time delivery, lead times and constraints, and promote adherence to shipping lead times and supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement, materials planning, supplier management, or manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex supplier delivery issues, material shortages, and production-critical requirements.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or another highly regulated manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of critical material shortages and supplier delivery issues affecting production schedules.
• Ensure supplier commitments align with MRP requirements, Master Production Schedule, and required on-dock dates.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics to protect production continuity.
• Monitor and improve supplier On-Time Delivery, past-due orders, lead times, and commitment accuracy.
• Develop and track supplier recovery plans with clear actions, owners, and dates.
• Ensure suppliers comply with shipping lead times, logistics requirements, and portal processes.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks impacting production, delivery to customers, and business continuity.
• Lead risk assessments for critical parts, constrained materials, single-source suppliers, and extended lead-time components.
• Support inventory reduction, MOQ optimization, deferrals, and rationalization.
