Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer in the Philippines to lead FEED and process design for large-scale power and utility projects. The role focuses on delivering reliable energy solutions with emphasis on safety and cost efficiency.

You will perform design work, develop P&IDs, heat and mass balance, and participate in multi-discipline reviews across the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies and vendor reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of engineering and project management experience in the energy sector.
• Experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) and utilities projects is required.
• Proficiency with energy resource simulation and optimization tools is advantageous.
• Experience in project development and execution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and basic process design for power plants, utilities facilities, water systems, mechanical systems and HVAC for data centers and process plants.
• Develop deliverables including P&IDs, heat and mass balance, process flow diagrams, operating/control philosophies, layouts, equipment specs, LCOE, etc.
• Lead and coordinate design reviews with a focus on safety, quality, performance and lifecycle costs.
• Conduct conceptual studies, feasibility studies, cost estimation, site surveys, and technical proposals to customers.
