Job summary

TASQ Staffing Solutions is seeking a Lead Consultant Azure, Power BI for a fully remote role based in the Philippines. The candidate will lead BI projects, design star schemas, create reports, and advise on Power BI licensing strategies while coordinating with clients and technical teams.

You should have 5+ years in data/BI and at least 4 years in leadership, with strong SQL, DAX, and Databricks experience. Remote work with client collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years in data and BI within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Proficient in T-SQL, data modeling, and Power BI report development.
• Strong skills in designing Power BI reports with drilldowns and measures.
• Advanced DAX and Power Query/M data transformations.
• Experience with Databricks for data pipelines.
• Excellent communication with clients and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to determine client reporting requirements.
• Explain and select Power BI licensing options with clients.
• Design star schemas and data models with calculated columns/measures.
• Develop BI solutions by importing data from multiple sources and building reports.
• Support deployment via Power BI service, gateways, DirectQuery, and DataFlows.
