Job summary

SVEN - The Digital 1st Agency is seeking a Master Editor / Post Production Supervisor to lead our Post Production Unit in a hybrid setup. You will guide editing, color, audio, and delivery workflows while steering the team toward excellence.

You will act as the senior technical authority, mentor editors, review projects, and drive improvements in workflows, quality standards, and delivery. This role combines leadership with hands-on post-production mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent industry experience considered).
• 5+ years of post-production experience, preferably in a leadership role such as Master Editor, Lead Editor, Post Production Supervisor, or Post Production Manager.
• Candidate must be willing to work on a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical lead and escalation point for all post-production concerns.
• Provide expert guidance on editing, motion graphics, compositing, audio, finishing, color workflows, and delivery requirements.
• Review critical projects to ensure creative and technical excellence.
• Mentor editors, motion graphic artists, and post-production staff.
• Conduct skills assessments and identify development opportunities.
• Facilitate coaching sessions, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Recommend training programs and upskilling opportunities.
• Manage team capacity, assignments, timelines, and project priorities.
• Ensure workloads are distributed effectively across available resources.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and resource gaps before they impact delivery.
• Work closely with Department Heads to align manpower requirements with project demands.
• Audit the team's current strengths, weaknesses, and technical readiness.
• Develop long-term capability-building plans.
• Recommend improvements in workflows, project organization, review processes, file management, and delivery procedures.
• Evaluate and implement tools, plugins, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging technologies that improve productivity and quality.
• Establish and maintain post-production standards across all output.
• Provide guidance on storytelling, pacing, editing techniques, audio, graphics integration, and finishing quality.
• Promote best practices and continuous innovation within the team.
• Partner with Producers, Directors, Creatives, Accounts, and stakeholders to support project planning and execution.
• Provide realistic timelines, technical recommendations, and risk assessments.
• Ensure creative vision is executed effectively throughout post-production.
