Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join our hybrid team in the Philippines. This role covers end-to-end payroll for internal staff, contractors, and consultants, with data integrity and timely reporting at the core of responsibilities.

You will ensure accurate pay-runs, manage payroll data reconciliation, and assist with month-end closures, audits, and related GL accounts in collaboration with the Finance Team.

Qualifications

• High level of understanding in the payroll area.
• Ability to conduct payroll analysis and reporting under supervision.
• Review payroll to identify anomalies and trends.
• Expertise in the use of payroll software.
• Experience dealing with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll function for Stellar, including monthly internal payroll, weekly contractor payroll, and consultant commissions.
• Support payroll data administration to ensure accuracy, data tables maintained, and data reconciles on a rolling YTD basis.
• Ensure pay-runs are prepared with accuracy; backup information saved; reports produced and saved.
• Assist in payroll month-end processing and data reconciliation YTD.
• Assist in processing payroll creditors such as PAYG, Superannuation, Child Support, IRD Payments.
• Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts monthly with Finance Team.
• Assist in payroll year-end reconciliation within required timeframes.
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by Payroll Specialist / Group Financial Controller.
• Provide backup for Accounts Team; support weekly billing and AP invoice processing.
